• The fastest way to place your order is to use our online shopping cart.  As you browse our website simply click on the button labeled "Add to Cart" next to any item you want to purchase.  When you are ready to checkout just click on the button labeled "View Cart / Checkout" that is near the top and bottom of most pages.  At checkout you will be given the following options.

• Print an Order form and pay with credit card by phone
  
  
• Print an Order Form and pay with check or money order by mail

Personal checks are welcome from U.S. buyers only, shipments may be held 7 to 14 business days while personal checks clear.   For additional payment and delivery information see below.  Please email us or phone us with any questions.

To add an item to the shopping cart simply click the "Add to Cart" button next to the item you wish to purchase.  When you are ready to Check Out and pay for your purchases, or if you want to view the contents of your shopping cart, simply click the "View Cart / Checkout" button that is at the top of every page on our website. 

To remove an item from the shopping cart, click the "View Cart / Checkout" button that is at the top of every page on our website.  Click the "Remove" button next to the item you wish to remove from your cart.

To change the quantity of a particular item in your cart, click the "View Cart / Checkout" button that is at the top of every page on our website.  Enter the new quantity of items you wish to purchase in the "quantity" box and Click the "Update" button.  All quantities must be whole numbers, no fractions or decimals please!

Our shopping cart provides secure online transactions.  Your order information is protected with 128 bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology certified by Thawte, Inc.

We carry a inventory of our standard color gradations in the Fat 1/16th, Fat 1/8th, and Fat Quarter Sizes.  Orders for these sizes will normally ship within 48 hours for payment by Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and money orders received by mail.   Personal checks may be held thus delaying shipment until they clear the bank.  

If delivery time is critical please e-mail us or phone us to verify delivery information before placing your order. 

If an item is temporarily out of stock we will contact you immediately and advise you with the estimated shipping date.   In these cases you may remove the item from your order or cancel the order.   Your credit card will not be billed until the items actually ship. 

Gradation sets in sizes larger than Fat Quarter, yardage, and Friendship Specials, Personalized Palette Specials are all dyed to order. Normally we will have these non-stock items ready to ship within two weeks of receipt of your order.   Your credit card will not be charged until items actually ship.

We use UPS and the USPS for shipments within the continental US.  UPS shipping options include Ground, Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3rd Day Select services.  USPS shipments are made via 2 - 3 Priority Mail.  During checkout the shopping cart will show you the shipping charges for these services and prompt you to select your preference.  Free Shipping is available for qualifying orders over $100.  All fabric except "Un-pressed 1-1/4 yard sets", and "PFD Fabric" are eligible for free shipping.

For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and Puerto Rico we use the 2 -3 day Priority Mail via the USPS.

Shipments to International destinations are made via the United States Postal Service.  Please note that the shopping cart does not accurately calculate International shipping charges and any value shown will be an estimate and not the amount you will actually be charged.  Upon receipt of your shipping address, we will email you with the exact amount you will be charged for shipping.  Upon receipt of an email from you acknowledging and accepting the shipping charges your credit card will be charged and the shipment made. 

Customs forms are completed for all international shipments in compliance with USPS and US federal laws declaring the actual value of the shipment.   All customs and import duties are the responsibility of the buyer and not DyeArtist Fabrics.

We are committed to making sure every one of our customers is 100% satisfied with their fabric purchases.  If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please contact us.  We will be happy to refund the price of the fabric less all-shipping charges. You must contact us within 10 days of receipt of your shipment for a return shipment authorization. We will issue your refund for the price of the fabric, less all shipping charges, upon our receipt of the fabric uncut and in new condition.  All gradations are sold as complete sets, we do not allow return of partial sets. 

There will be a $20.00 service fee on personal checks that do not have sufficient funds available at the time they are processed by the bank.

Residents of North Carolina must pay 7.0% sales tax on their purchases.

We have many capabilities and invite inquiries for items not shown on our website.  All of these inquiries are considered on an individual basis. 

Occasionally special orders may require non-refundable deposits to cover the cost of ordering special materials and our time.   If this is required we will email you with the non refundable charges.  Upon receipt of your email stating acceptance  and payment of the non refundable charges we will begin work on your special order.  Balance of the remaining payment is required at time of shipment.

As of April 28, 2008: Beginning  July 1st delivery for all item will get back to normal as described above.  We ask for everyone's understanding during this difficult time for us.

As of April 28, 2008 we are temporarily not accepting any more PayPal orders since they result in transfer of funds at the time of order placement.  As stated above we do not actually charge credit card orders until the order ships.
